Conviva Connect MDDI
Conviva Connect Multi-Dimensional Decision Insights (MDDI) provides access to Conviva data packages for offline cross dimensional analysis of key Conviva metric data.
The delivery sequence is an uninterrupted, sixty second (starting at the beginning and ending at the end of each minute) period of time for purposes of the collection and display of data.
“Sink” means an AWS S3 bucket commissioned via Customer’s AWS account as directed by Customer, or another cloud storage location or tool as designated by Customer.
Conviva delivers MDDI as a Service in accordance with all of Customer’s specifications including as set forth in the order form as soon as possible and thereafter on an ongoing basis.
MDDI can include the delivery of Data Packages once per minute, for sequential time intervals, for each applicable C3 Account. Conviva ensures that each Data File includes the timestamp indicating the interval, the time at which the Data File was started, and the time at which the Data File was completed.
Dimension Levels
MDDI data files include levels of dimensional analysis across a custom set of dimensions across a specified number of cohorts, for example CDN, StreamType, ASN, geographic region identifier (e.g., designated market area or state (“GRI”), and PlayerName.
-
Level 1: 5-dimensional analysis (CDN, StreamType, ASN, GRI, PlayerName) - Top 20,000 cohorts
-
Level 2: 4-dimensional analysis (CDN, StreamType, ASN, GRI) - Top 9,000 cohorts
-
Level 3: 3-dimensional analysis (CDN, StreamType, ASN) - Top 1,000 cohort
The required cohorts that must be included in each Data Package is specified in the customer's order form, such as 30,000 cohorts, and may be increased by the customer at any time to up to 60,000 cohorts or, with at least 7 business days’ notice to up to 90,000 Cohorts.
Metric Data Points
Example metric data points for video stream performance include: concurrent_plays; attempts; plays; playing_time_ms; rebuffering_time_ms; cirr_time_ms; ended_plays; vpf_t; vsf_t; vst_ms; bytes_loaded.
Data Packages.
Data Package means a package of data files with each Data File containing the Required Cohorts for the interval, provided in a Parquet format, with Cohorts ordered by number of Plays (so that Customer receives the top results, referred to as the top N). Each Data File will be divided by the Cohort Levels.
The customer may adjust the number of Cohorts in each Cohort Level, and the Dimensions, at will with 7 business days’ notice to Conviva (email support@conviva.com) at no additional cost, subject to the overall cap on Required Cohorts.
